I'm a geek through and through. I love all aspects of technology & science. I've been into computers as far back as I can remember, I started taking them apart and putting them back together at the age of 12 when we got our first 486 PC ! Shortly after I started learning to write simple batch scripts, which then led to writing a few basic QBASIC programs. Once I hit high school and found the guys a few years older than me were using Turbo Pascal and laughed at the mention of QBASIC! So naturally I picked that up and started writing various little programs, from a password prompt at boot up to a really simple game, I was fascinated with creating programs which used the mouse and creating my own buttons you could click which performed actions ! I gave up programming as I found most things I could ever want had already been done, so now it's mostly just general IT stuff.
